With every iCON, comprehensive documentation is provided for the installer, the operator and management.  Every iCON application is powered from a 20 to 30 V DC source and requires 0.4A at 24V. Field equipment power fusing and monitoring is inherent in the controller. For further electrical requirements and full specifications see the Technical Manuals (link) that are provided with each iCON.

For ease and accuracy of identification, applications are grouped and coded to reflect the number of servo axes under control by that iCON. AP01 refers to single axis control, AP02 to dual axis and so on. At present, the following applications are fully tested and in operation successfully.

The iCON system of control is applicable to a very wide range of factory automation needs. System Electronics is continually refining existing applications and creating new applications. As each iCON application utilises an "unbundled" group of programs, many of which are common to every application and some of which are specific to that particular application, new applications can be readily added to the range as required.
